Bridging Gaps – From Good Intentions to Good Cooperation
The development of the manual ‘Bridging Gaps – From Good Intentions to Good Cooperation’ was financed by the European Commission and three co-financing partners, the MA 57 – Women’s Department of the City of Vienna; the Ministry of Labour, Social Affairs, and Consumer Protection; and the Magistrate’s Department for Foreign Affairs, in Austria. The aim of the project was to create models out of the cooperation between women NGOs and state authorities on the prevention of violence against women and children. The manual is based on the contributions of project partners from 11 European countries and draws upon the work and experiences of many committed experts and academics in the field.
The goal was to establish methods in which women’s NGO and state authorities can collaborate in violent situations and prevent violence against women and children. The established indicators, guidelines and strategies for implementation were the basis for the manual.
The manual can be downloaded from the RESOURCES section of the WAVE website - TRAINING MANUALS
