WAVE TRAINING PROGRAMME ON COMBATING VIOLENCE AGAINST WOMEN

The training manual is designed for use in training and further training courses for professionals in various fields. Special importance attaches to training and consciousness-raising for professionals dealing with the victims of violence against women and children as an effective means of preventing such violence. Confidence and professionalism in handling appeals for help and the provision of fast and efficient support can alleviate the hardships and in some case avoid further violence (tertiary prevention).
