You can contact the WAVE- Network & European Information Center Against Violence directly or one of our WAVE-focal points in almost 50 countries.

The WAVE - office was set up on the premises of the Austrian Women's Shelter Network and acts as an information and service office for members or anybody else requiring information. The WAVE Office acts also as a point of contact between women's aid bodies in Europe and seeks primarily to accelerate the flow of support and information.

The organisation's core task is to co-ordinate the WAVE Network, to manage the European Info Centre Against Violence and to update and attend the database - with your help. Please give us feedback if you find invalid information or know about helpful services not mentioned on our homepage.

Principal functions contain the following: collecting and disseminating data on organisations working in the field of violence against women and children and on the applicable legal provisions, prevention programmes, campaigns and international activities in this area, issuing publications (newsletters, conference reports, national reports etc.), and the organisation and co-ordination of events such as the WAVE Conference and Steering Group meetings.
