FOCAL POINTS
|
The Focal Points act as one of the network's key information channels. In each country or region there should be at least one Focal Point responsible for collecting and disseminating information. The Focal Points thus have a pivotal function in the communications structure of the Network. Experience with the Focal Points to date has shown that it is important to consider not only their geographical but also their thematic distribution. The Focal Points are intended to serve as points of contact for specific groups and issues like migrants, children, prevention, etc. Currently, WAVE has now 91 Focal Points in 46 countries. |
